John Blanchard, MD

About Dr. Blanchard

Dr. Blanchard co-founded Premier Private Physicians over 25 years ago and serves as its CEO. In 2001, he established one of the first Direct Primary Care practices in the country and the first in Michigan. He later founded SALTA Direct Primary Care, a sister company to Premier delivering DPC services to employers and individuals.

As a national leader in personalized healthcare, Dr. Blanchard envisions reinventing primary care to make it more accessible, affordable, and exceptional for everyone, particularly at-risk populations. He believes the foundation of quality healthcare is a trusting patient-physician relationship. Dr Blanchard is board certified by the American board of Family Medicine. He serves as an adjunct clinical associate at the University of Michigan Medical School.

Outside of his innovative work in healthcare, Dr. Blanchard enjoys hiking, hunting, and fishing with his two sons. He and his wife of 30+ years treasure their time traveling together and boating on Lake St. Clair.

Dakota Dalton, DO, MS

About Dr. Dalton

Dr. Dalton is an osteopathic physician whose practice centers on integrative medicine, osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), and lifestyle medicine. He is passionate about holistic health, preventive medicine, and metabolic and longevity care. His approach combines evidence-based conventional treatments with complementary and alternative therapies to manage complex medical conditions.

Taking a patient-centered approach, Dr. Dalton helps patients optimize their health with minimal medical intervention, regardless of where they are on their health journey. His comprehensive training allows him to provide personalized care that addresses the full spectrum of patient needs. Dr Dalton is board certified by the American Board of Family medicine.

A Waterford native, Dr. Dalton enjoys strength training, music performance, hiking with his dogs, and martial arts in his free time. He finds relaxation on the water or gathered around a fire with close friends. Dr. Dalton will be joining Premier Private Physicians in August 2025.

About Dr. Peoples

Dr. Peoples brings unique public health experience to her family medicine practice. Before medical school, she worked for over five years as an epidemiologist in Washington, DC, managing government research on women’s health, prenatal care, and veteran health programs.

She provides compassionate care for patients of all ages, specializing in complex chronic conditions while emphasizing prevention and lifestyle medicine. Dr. Peoples builds strong relationships with her patients. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine

Outside the office, Dr. Peoples enjoys life in Berkley with her partner Josh and their son Nyles. Her personal interests include home renovation, history, podcasts, and group fitness activities.

Keith Christmon, MD

Dr. Christmon brings a holistic and preventative approach to medicine with a special interest in fitness and sport-related injuries. His passion is helping patients find quality of life regardless of their age or health challenges.

He maintains board certification in the American Board of Physicians and Surgeons, and membership in the Christian Medical & Dental Association. Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Christmon is deeply involved in his community, serving on several administrative boards and volunteering actively in his church. Each year he travels on a medical mission to impoverished countries around the world.

In his personal time, Dr. Christmon enjoys golf, outdoor recreation, and travel.

Dr. Washe brings a comprehensive approach to patient care. She enjoys providing care for families across all generations, from newborns to the elderly, with special interests in complex medical conditions, women’s health and stress management.

Her commitment to medical education is evident in her role as an assistant professor at Oakland University/William Beaumont Medical School. Dr. Washe’s leadership skills, refined through the Beaumont Physician Leadership Program, complement her clinical practice while she maintains board certification with the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

When not caring for her patients, Dr. Washe enjoys baking, reading, and embracing her role as a devoted “hockey mom.”
